Review 47; Tokyo Ghoul (Gimp Masks Everywhere)...

So I've been told time and time again, not just by you guys, but also close friends and web friends to watch this... But was it worth it?

The majority of you just haven't shut up about this, I've had messages, I've had comments and I've had my friends bugging me to watch this. If anything everyone seems pretty hyped up about the anime. But i hadn't actually watched or seen any images to do with this anime until, i think, two or three weeks ago.
So even my boyfriend had started to bug me about watching this, so i gave it ago and i swear to god the main character just likes gimp masks or something.

So as soon as the anime started i began to hate it, if you read any of my reviews then you would know that i hate the panty flashing and the big boobed princesses that some animes have. It wasn't too bad, but it was still there which bugged me just a litttleeee bit.
So we start of with our main character becoming friends with a young woman who just happens to be a Ghoul (He doesn't know), she ends up turning on him and attempting to eat him alive... But just by Coincidence , there's an accident which means that she is killed and he lives by a thread. so obviously their smart enough to give him parts of the Ghouls body which then turns him into a half Ghoul half human thing.

so at first i thought that the Ghoul concept was pretty weird; If they try to eat human food it's bloody disgusting and they spit it out straight away, also if they swallow it they could potentially be very ill... which i get because if your a different species then it's understandable but the whole taste thing bugs me because i think that Humans could of tricked ghouls and killed them secretly by doing stuff with human meat instead of just killing ghouls.
Also all Ghouls seem very kinky and are into gimp masks; So most of the characters go to some guy who makes masks so they can hide from police or the authorities, and then they all seem to have an orgasm when they eat meat or see a human being killed... So it was quite awkward for me to watch since i didn't expect any of that.

Our main character called Ken Kaneki looks so innocent and sweet in the beginning and i loved the fact that he was completely oblivious to practically everything that was going on. But near the end of the first season he turns badass and his hair is white and he always wears the gimp mask and he takes a SERIOUSLY un-expected change of heart which made me hate him just a little bit more.
But i loved the first season, but near the end of the second season the animation of the anime as a whole turned rather shit and disappointed me; in fact, i only watched a few episodes of the second season because people said it got even worse, so i picked out episodes and watched them and then got the internet to fill me in on parts.

Ken Kaneki; is seriously shy and his best friend is pushy and comes across as a loud mouth. So his mother died from over working herself and he doesn't have any family, all he has is his close friend; so he lives in an apartment by himself and goes to school with his friend and he seems like a very average person all in all... But when the Ghouls body parts are placed in him and he starts to realize what humans are really like to these unfortunate creatures, he takes an unsightly turn and just starts to hate everyone in existence... which is seriously strange to believe when he was so innocent and you kind wanted to grab his cheeks and cuddle him because you wanted to wind him up.
But i felt so, so, so bad for him in the beginning because of everything that happened, but at the end of the first season i seriously started to hate him it made me love the other characters that i hated in the beginning.

I bloody hated the Ghoul hunters though; once they kill a ghoul they take their weapon ,which in most cases, is tucked inside their body somewhere and it breaks out when they need it. So it was upsetting when they took a dead womans weapon so they could kill her daughter too; i literally wanted to cry when i saw the tease her and make her upset. She was one of those cute characters that i wanted to hug.

So did i like it? Yes i fucking did, the character designs where un-usual especially when you think "This adorable little kid is actually a human eating machine" Or when you see their weapons which become even awesomier as you go along. But i was over all quite disappointed with the second season and i didn't see the point in watching it all of the way through. But the little bits that i picked out where still averagely good to watch, but good knows what happened to the animators... Maybe they where drunk or something?
It was good and very enjoyable, i don't know if i would re-watch the whole thing again though; maybe the last half of the first season and if i had the time i might actually watch the whole of the second season just to see if it really is that bad altogether.
It's a little bit on the gory side (Not as bad as the other things i've seen), But it isn't completely disgusting that you don't watch it; some sites even go to the lengths of blurring out the blood just for those who want to watch it but don't like the gore, so just look out for those if you don't enjoy all of the blood and stuffing your face with intestines

I also fell in love with the art style in this one, the way that the weapons formed and took shape was pretty interesting to me... So there's something else to look out for.

Review 46; Is This A Zombie? (Adorable Cross Dressing Zombie)!

This anime, to me, is rather random, funny and energetic... But can becoming a Zombie be a positive thing?

This anime has to be one of the funniest but rudest ones i've watched in a long time, it's not the best i've watched so far; but it was weird and made me want to watch it a lot more. There are all kinds of mythical powered/styled creatures. Even though they are mainly mythical based, the twists put on them make them absolutely ridiculous characters that just make you think... What the fuck?

So the anime itself revolves around a young boy who recently died; well he was technically murdered. I'm not going to say who killed him, but he was murdered. He woke up and there was a girl leaning over him; she bought him back to life by using her powers. We actually find out later, that on that same night he met that girl outside of a shop. She was quietly sat on the floor by herself and everyone was just walking past her, he stopped and spoke to her; he joked with her, made polite conversation and did stupid things in an effort to make her smile.

She turned out to be a Necromancer; a powerful being, who bought him back to life when he died. Ever since he was bought back to life, she has been quietly living with him.  Whilst he is living with her, a lot of strange things start to happen to him and he can't quite adjust to the fact that he's actually dead now...

Ayumu Aikawa: He's the main character in this anime, and is the only person who doesn't seem perverted and creepy. He was murdered by a serial killer and was then resurrected by a Necromancer. He now let's the Necromancer live with him as a way of saying thank you for the Resurrection. Since we was resurrected he has super human strength and his body can regenerate quickly, he can still feel pain but it goes quicker than normal and he can absorb magic from other people; the  only down side is that when in the sun for too long, he dries up.
his ability to absorb magic can also be a negative thing... he absorbs some from another girl that we meet in this anime. But because of her form of magic, he turns into a Mahōu-Shōjo; he gains a a frilly pink outfit and becomes a magical garment girl from absorbing this magic. So whenever she needs help with something or something needs defeating, she calls on him to turn into a magical Garment Girl and then he has to fight for her.

Eucliwood Hellscythe: She's the Necromancer who resurrected him when he was murdered. She's quite and doesn't talk in order to suppress her power, she communicates with others by using small notes . She's that strong that she has to wear seriously heavy and thick armour, she can't talk and has to suppress her emotions in order to keep all of her power at bay. Even her own words contain extraordinary power, just by saying the word "Die" she can drain their life energy until they end up dying. The down side to her powers is that she takes on the pain of anyone she's healed or killed, even though she is immortal; she understands and has felt the pain of dying over and over again.
Out of the girls that end up living with him; she has to be the only one that truly cares and stands up for him in a fight. She's the only one that shows even a little bit of care and support towards him and admits in one episode that she does have feelings for him.

Haruna: she's the Magical Garment girl who's presence makes absolutely no sense at all. She was originally sent by her sensei to go to Kyoto and purchase some Tofu, but somehow ended up in Tokyo. She fights demons called Megalos and then sends Ayumu to go and kill them in her place, she tags along with him of course to make sure that the job gets done properly and efficiently. Her original weapon is a giant chainsaw that somehow looks normal when she is wielding it, but as soon as Ayumu takes over with that stupid looking pink frilly dress... The concept of it is seriously ridiculous.
She does appear to care a little bit about Ayumu, she gets completely jealous over any form of attention that he gets from other girls. She's violent, loud and seriously annoying all of the way through, she claims that he's her servant and that she is his master and that he has to do every little thing she tells him to do. She's one of those annoying characters, we all know that if she was real we would all punch her in the face for being a little bitch.

Yes, there are other characters that you meet along the way and no, i'm not writing them all in right now. If you want to learn more about the characters, either google it or watch the anime! The thing that makes most reviews boring is the fact that there will be (in most cases) a long list of characters and info.
There are other cool characters like Seraphim, Mael and Sarasvati. i would write out more info but it would take me even longer (i'm busy people)!

This anime and Noragami have to be one of my most recent favourite animes.
Just like Noragami, it's supposed to have these serious and intense situations; but the creators throw in these little distracting things that are there to make us giggle a little... But if you're like me, then it throws you off completely and then you focus on the funny things throughout.

So i thought from the beginning that this was quite a funny anime. Once again, i hated the fanservice and gigantic boobs that appeared everywhere you looked in the anime... If you haven't read previous reviews that even have just a hint of fanservice, then you would know that i hate the hell out of it.
So there is un-needed fanservice in this one; at random times Ayumu imagines the Necromancer chick talking to him and begging him for stuff in this weird stereotypical fangirl voice with a weird pink background with stupid music playing over the top.
yeah, it's funny; but we all know that he just wants to fuck her right in the pussy... That's what every stereotypical anime guy wants to do when there's a big boobed girl living with him!!

So i did really enjoy the anime; but the fanservice put me off. It's very funny and the even the fight scenes are made funny by a lad running around in a pretty pink dress.
the situations that the characters seem to drag themselves into are hilarious; mainly because of their attitudes towards Ayumu and his reactions to them.
depending on where you stream it from, the videos can be a little buggy; even watching them off of youtube and popular dubbed anime sites, the action was further along then the voices of the characters... It got me so confused and it wasted time as i had to stop watching and then find a new streamer to watch the anime on. Just be careful when choosing something to stream this one on, because a lot of the videos did do this and i eventually had to put up with it if i wanted to watch the anime.

But all around, it's really good, really funny ad quite random at times. it's definatly worth a watch and is good enough to watch through to the end. Just don't skip any episodes, i missed the last 10 minutes of one episode, then when the next one came on... I had absolutely no idea as to what they where on about. There's a lot of important stuff in there, so pay attention!!

Review 45: Norigami (Being a god with only 5 yen jobs)

Review 45: Norigami (Being A God with only 5 yen Jobs)

Norigami; funny, loud and awesome all the way through. This anime is sure to make you laugh all the way through, with funny character designs and exciting character designs... but, is being a god all that good?

This anime is like no other, it revolves around gods and how they gain respect through doing jobs for humans for only 5 yen. It turns out that this is how all gods in japan gain respect, and all of the gods are actually in human form and live amongst ordinary people... However, even though they live amongst humans, humans cannot see them unless they have a strong sixth sense. So gods go un-noticed unless you strongly believe in them, have a job on the way or if you have a strong sixth sense.

The anime revolves around a god named Yato. He goes un-noticed by all, he doesn't have his own shrine and no one respects him at all; he also is noticed by most other gods. So Yato is homeless and has no one with him to help him on his way. It begins with Yato gaining a job where he has to find a missing cat called Milord. He puts up posters and screeches the name from the top of his lungs, until he finds it in the road; He jumps out in front of a lorry to save the cat. as he does a young school girl named Hiyori sees him and also jumps in front of the lorry to save Yato. No one else sees Yato jump in front of the lorry, so everyone thinks that Hiyori jumped in front of the lorry just to save a cat.

She sits up and looks over at her body whilst she's next to Yato. By being hit by the lorry, she had turned into a half phantom. She wasn't completely dead, but she wasn't completely alive; from this point on-wards she keeps on having random phases were her soul leaves her body, when it does she grows a long tail and her body will be on the floor sleeping quietly. When her soul separates from her body, she is in the half phantom form. Yato explains to her that he's a god, and gods can only gain respect for doing small jobs for those who need them; the only downside to it is that you only get 5 yen and that Yato is homeless and has no weapon to fight with. He also explains to her that gods need weapons to fight with against demons, and weapons are actually people who have almost passed on but want to live.

Yato: The god of calamity. He is homeless and sleeps outside of another shrine that had previously been abandoned. He's been alive for hundreds of years and has once killed a Shinki, (One of the god’s weapons). He isn't recognized by most gods, and the ones that do know him hate him for what he has done in the past. He always wears the same sweaty clothes, a jersey and matching joggers. The only thing that he has that is valuable to him is his phone, a pen and bottle full of 5 yen coins. He's loud and funny and cannot be serious to save his life, and every time he tries to be serious; someone has to ruin it by laughing at him, insulting him or doing something for it to back fire.

Hiyori: she's a normal high school student until she meets yato. She’s constantly looking for him and trying to help him out, bu he doesn't want her to get in trouble or get hurt. After the she was hit by the lorry, she gained a tendency to randomly fall asleep and as she does her soul wanders around looking for Yato. She asks Yato to fix her body so she won't keep on separating from it, he says he will but leaves it at the side as he doesn't know what he's doing... But Hiyori believes him when he says that he'll help. Eventually, she becomes very attached to Yato and becomes close friends with him. She's a bright and caring character, she helps out Yato and other associates of his throughout the anime, and she also adds a lighter and more positive side to the series.

Yukine, Yatos Shinki: he was found by Yato when he was trying to save Hiyori, His previous weapon had quit on him so at that point in time he had nothing. Yukine causes more trouble than he's worth when he isn't fighting. He steals money, a skateboard, smashes all of the windows at a school and attempts to "touch" Hiyori as she sleeps. All of his sins then hurt Yato, yukine however doesn't care about Yato or the fact that he's constantly being injured because of Yukines actions. Yukine is only a young teenage boy, meaning that he never abides by the rules, he hates being told what to do, he hates people asking him questions or even talking to him, he hates being around others and he hates being caught out... he also hates the fact that he's dead; anyone would really, but he hates the fact that he's dead so much that he feels like he has to take it out on everyone and everything, as if it's everyone's fault. Even though his character design seems adorable, his personality is negative and he adds a depressing mood when any other character is around him, he's constantly storming off in anger and he hates other opinions.

The anime itself was fun to watch; even though it can be seen as quite a dark kind of anime if you haven't watched it. When i first heard of it, i thought it would just be gods killing demons and then a god meeting a human and becoming friends. But when i actually took the time to watch the anime, (I watched it all in one night) i realized that there is a lot more to it than just gods and demons. For starts, there are rivalries in between gods, not all gods are what they made out to be and it makes the viewer look t certain gods in a completely different way. Also, the use of weapons who are actually humans works well; instead of a god just having one dead set weapon that they can only use, the gods that are portrayed in the anime can have multiple weapons for multiple uses.

The animation and character style works well with what the creator wanted to portray. The character designs themselves are quite basic, but i think it works well; it means that if the characters are in a crowd of normal people you can't easily pick them out... If you've ever watched yu-gi-oh then you should know what i mean. The concept of gods earning their respect and money through doing jobs for only 5yen is very interesting and adds a good twist on the amount of effort they have to put into there jobs; it adds a twist to what we think gods normally do, e.g. sitting in a clouds drinking wine and watching people pass by.

The anime itself has good animation quality, it seems pretty up to date, the background music and settings also suit the mood. All in All, it's a brilliantly styled anime, it ads new concepts and ideas to what we would originally think and it can be uplifting even in the serious moments which is good as if it's too serious all of the time... i can get bored very often, so random moments even in serious situations adds a good aspect of emotional powered variations in the anime.

I do think that this is a brilliant anime, it was defiantly worth the watch and it has to be one of the first animes I’ve enjoyed in a long, long time.

Review 44: Loveless (Is this rape)?

Review 44: Loveless (Is this rape)?

I'm sure, in reality, it's against the law to randomly hug and kiss some kid who you've never met
before. at first glance this anime has already creeped me out. In fact, i was laughing when it got to the awkward kissing and long, deep eye staring... What the hell am i watching?
From the way everyone made this out to be, it sounded alright; but just watching the first episode made me laugh quite a bit. For starts children have these weird cat/fox tails and ears but adults don't, if you didn't know... I hate animal crossover things, just ughh.
So the anime starts off with a young boy named Ritsuka Aoyagi. In the beginning he transfers to a new school (elementary school). Before he arrives we see a bunch of girls in the same class that he's moving into; they bully and push around a young girl called Yuiko Hawatari. When he transfers no one wants to know him, everyone keeps their distance from him, apart from little Yuiko. After school a strange tall college student is waiting for Ritsuka, He tells him that he was his brothers friend... Ritsukas brother was burnt to death by something called the Septimal Moon. For some reason, and there is no explanation at the beginning... They have to be in love in order to fight and protect each other?... This isn't explained at all.... i'm confused.
So all children have these weird looking cat or fox tails and ears, and grown ups don't have them. Then at some point there's two kids with the tails and ears who go by the same name as Breathless, these two fight Ritsuka and the, really pervy, Soubi. So nothing makes any sense at all, nothing is explained for the majority of the anime. I would seriously love to know why they have cat ears, or why this college student is perving, following and kissing an elementary student?
The there are these random fights with spells, but you have to be in love to fight. They're really weird fights too, the room or anything around them goes blank and then randomly re-appears later on in the fight (The second fight you'll see). The fights also seem as if they are lacking something or as if the creator has done them like this to fit the laid back and strange atmosphere of the anime. It's quite strange, you would think that if you had a good concept of fights based off of spells that you would do a lot more with it.
I really don't enjoy animes that are all about love and sincerity, i prefer horror, action, comedy... Things that will cheer you up, make you laugh or put you on the edge of your seat. This anime did none of that for me, it seemed kinda boring if anything. It just seems like the characters aren't what they should be, or that they needed a little extra just to push along their development or the stories development.
The anime doesn't really start getting interesting until episode 8/9 and there are only 12 episodes in the anime. There doesn't seem to be any important development in early episodes and it's quite boring, it's dragged out so much that i got bored of watching at the 6th episode. I just feel like this anime needs more added to it; yeah it's a good idea and concept but it's defiantly missing something.
I think if it just had that little bit extra and it wasn't so pervy looking then i would of enjoyed it even though it isn't of my favourite genre; all it was focused on was the way the characters felt and their relationships, but what makes a good anime isn't just the characters relationships... It's the story line and the concept behind that story line.
I didn't quite enjoy this anime, i know other people would enjoy this... But then again i'm not into animes like this. i know others that would love this anime... But i seriously cannot watch something like this again, it's just so draining and boring for me... Sorry guys; this is not my kind of thing.
I wouldn't really recommend this anime to anyone who loves animes that want something that will keep them on the edge of their seat, keep them wanting more and keep them loving the characters involved. This anime just didn't do it for me and i wouldn't go back and watch it again.
It does have it's goo qualities though! even though i might not of enjoyed it, it has beutifull art work and romantic scenes that could make some fangirls hearts melt! So if you're a fan girl/boy and you love romantic love stories or drama/love stories then i guess you would enjoy his series! Also the opening to the anime has very precise images of the main character, but it's only th outline... so those make a nice touch to the simplicity of the anime. So i would actually recommend this to people who are in to more laid back types of anime.

Review 43: Corpse Part (A Fanservice Horror).

Review 43: Corpse Party (A Fan service Horror)

Whilst it may only be four episodes long; this anime has blood, gore and fan service written all over it... But is the fan service seriously needed?

Corpse Party is more famously known for the long winded RPG game; but it originated from the popular but short Japanese anime and manga. There is a second season of the Famous mystery/horror themed anime, however it hasn't been transferred into an anime; only a manga and another game have been made from the second series.

The series itself is horror based but also has a few aspects of comedy in-between the girls, fre an service from the girls and plenty of screaming from the girls. Yeah, the girls get annoying after a while... But then again the boys in the anime are practically useless one goes insane one is scared of everything and one acts tough but isn't. So nearly everyone in the anime is portrayed as useless in the situation they're put in.

The anime starts off with one of our characters called Naomi waking up in Heavenly Host Elementary; She recalls what had happened before they got there and why it happened, then soon after the action, the gore and confusion kicks in. There was a festival at Naomi's school, her and eight other people stayed behind too clean up and say good bye to their friend who was transferring to another school. The extremely creepy class Representative tells everyone about the cursed school which stood before their own. That school is Heavenly Host Elementary...

On a rainy night, much like the one the story is told; a Teacher kidnapped four children from the same school as his. he took them into the basement, locked them away and slowly killed them. He removed eyes tongues and half of one the girls heads. Shortly after the school was knocked down, and another school was built in it's place. After the children in our story perform the Sachiko Doll Charm they are taken to Heavenly Hosts closed spaces; meaning that the 9 people who were taken there cannot find each other even though they are in the same school. (Satoshi's little sister comes in before they are taken to Heavenly host). The four children who had been murdered in the school take out their revenge on anyone who performs the charm and ends up inside of the closed spaces. Children go insane, they kill each other, nearly everyone who enters the school dies...

The anime mainly revolve around our nine characters getting out of the school alive; Satoshi, Ayumi, Yoshiki, Naomi, Yuka, Seiko, Sakutaro, Mayu and Ms. Yui are all fighting to survive against the vengeful spirits and those who are also lost inside of the closed spaces. But since they cannot see each other it's nearly impossible to find their way out of the Heavenly Host.

The anime itself is very gory; there seems to be blood around every single corner. There's always a twisted way that one of the characters dies in which also involves their intestines spilling out on the floor. If you've watched the anime Elfen Lied or Blood-C then you should know a fair bit about blood and gore; this anime isn't as bad as those two but it still contains a fair bit. With piecing together the mystery behind the school; you may be able to piece it all together very quickly, but if you've played the first Corpse party game then you'll be angry with the anime... yeah they miss out quite a bit by the looks of it.

Since it's only four episodes long, it makes the story line development seem rushed and compressed. If i was going to produce this anime myself then i would of at least extended the first season to over ten episodes; it's such a good concept that it shouldn't of only been put into a few episodes. Also; why is it that nearly all horror themed animes have a large amount of fan service? if you've read some of my past reviews then you should know that i'm against fan service; most of the time it just isn't needed, it's mostly used to draw in a larger audience... But if you're a horror lover like me, then fan service isn't needed; it's not like seeing a girls large breasts or panties makes us more scared or drawn into the story line.

All in all; i do love the story line and the twists that occur all the way through the anime. The only thing that lets this anime down for me has to be the fan service which comes across as out of place and the amount of episodes there are. I do love the story line but it seems that the anime cuts out important pieces or pieces which then lead up to the important parts. In some cases a big chunk is missed as the characters end up in a new place. even though i love the story line and the characters, there needs to be more episodes... I'm a little disappointed.

Since the anime is short, i've missed out some key information and events so it's not as obvious as to what happens at the end. I wouldn't want to ruin the anime for you guys

Review 42: Black Bullet (Cursed Little Girls)

So there's cursed children, special bug repellent disguised as metal and giant bugs that eat you, infect you and then turn you into them... This is weird...

So in the slightly, but not so futuristic world of japan... A parasitic virus seems to be running the world and the government’s actions. This leads the citizens of Tokyo to live behind walls made of Varanium, (not over the top like attack on titan). You are not allowed out of these walls unless you have been sent out to dispose of the parasitic virus, but not many people are so, ehhh. Even though the people may be protected from the virus now, but when they weren't the virus managed to find a way into the systems of pregnant women; meaning that when their children were born they were classed as a "Cursed Child". The Cursed children then grow to have superhuman powers, but only a female can be a cursed child... (Imagine them on their periods, holy crap).

Our story starts In Tokyo with Rentaro and Enju. The anime starts with them both on their way to an apartment that has suspicious parasitic movement. When Rentaro arrives, there are two officers dead and the apartment is covered in blood. Before him stands a man who looks some what like a clown... And he creeps me out real bad. When Enju gets close to the apartment, she comes across the man who has been taken over by the virus; she can't do anything to save him, so inevitably has to fight him. The first episode does give us a good in-sight to the anime and what we could expect from it. even the opening to the first episode when we see the Gastrea attacking Rentaro when he was younger, gives us a good idea as to what the people would of had to go through before the Varanium walls were put into place.

Rentaro satomi: During the opening to the first anime we see that he was attacked at quite a young age. He lost his right arm, right leg and left eye in a fight to protect someone from a Gastrea. His parents were killed in the war against Gastrea about ten years ago. He was then adopted by the Tendo family, but then later left along with Kisara. he had his limbs replaced in "The New Human Replacement Program". His limbs were replaced with Varanium metal in order for him to become stronger and fight better when it comes to the Gastrea. He is also the Initiator of Enju he is in charge of her protection as a human and any actions performed by Enju will have consequences that will effect him.

Enju Aihara: She is a cursed child and Rentaro's weapon against the Gastrea. When she was first introduced to Rentaro she had severe trust issues and didn't want to be any part of the war. But she then became closer to him and now she thinks that they are soul mates that are just meant to be together. She did attend Primary school until her true identity as a cursed child was revealed to the other students; their hatred for her then drove her to transfer to another school. Even though she wants to be normal and get out of the current life she lives... It will never be possible for her. She keeps a positive attitude and stays happy and bubbly throughout the anime, she does whatever she can to protect Rentaro as he is the only person that she will ever be close to throughout her life.

Gastrea: The parasitic virus that takes form of large bugs, whenever they have to chance they will devour as many humans as the possibly can in order to spread the virus and cause the extinction of all humans. They despise Varanium so that is the only thing humans can use against them in order to defeat them. Also meaning that only Initiators and their weapons are able to fight the Gastrea.

There are a lot of characters that you meet along the way; but as usual i'm not going to go over them all as i only like to highlight the main characters. So if you want more information on the characters then just go on to Wikipedia or something... (Cause I’m that lazy).

Now the anime has been released quite recently so the animation and fighting scenes are quite simply awesome. The attitudes in the anime; at times, can be quite serious and there are a lot of tense moments that we as viewers need to be paying attention too. But at times (like the first episode) there is an element of fun and happiness that we need to take in just to put into perspective of what their lives are like at this point.

I really enjoyed this anime, everything that they've used seems to be up to date like other modern shows. The idea for the story line seems original and can be quite un-expected at times. The only thing i would say needs some improving would be the characters that we would like to see a bit more; Yes, they may be involved for one or two episodes... But then they are either killed off again or we don't see them as often as we would like too. But still, a very good show; it's not as long as i would of liked it to be, but sometimes the shorter animes are the best ass we don't see as many fillers as we would in other big animes like Naruto and Fairy Tail. So over all i wasn't disappointed in the anime at all and i would happily watch it again.

Review 41: Mysterious Girlfrend X (they eat each others drool)...

Review 41: Mysterious Girlfriend X (They eat each others drool)...

They say this is supposed to be a romantic comedy anime about a Young couple... But it is it really just plain disgusting?

This anime was produced in 2012, the most twisted and disgusting love story about a young couple ever. It seems all innocent at first as a new student Urabe Mikoto Is introduced to the class. The young boy out of this 'sweet' couple is called Akira Tsubaki, He seems sweet at first and is one of the few people that actually speaks to Urabe but they don't quite become friends.

Urabe Mikoto: She's very, very quite and shy at first... But soon after joining the class she has a rather random outburst of laughter whilst the teacher is in the middle of speaking to the class. People begin to avoid her as all she does is fall asleep and drools all over her desk. She seems rather creepy at first by the way that she appears and speaks but when people actually see her face properly; the seem shocked and surprised by the adorable face she actually has! She doesn't like relationships and refuses to be friends with anyone in her new found class, she isolates herself and stays quite. We learn a bit more about her and we see a lot more of her further in the series. She also has a rather odd habit of cutting everything up with a pair of scissors she keeps in her underwear...

Akira Tsubaki: He is the only one that speaks to Urabe, Outside school and in school; he's one of the few people who actually try to make an effort with her and he succeeds. He's one of the only people who actually knows more about her than just her name, he tried to discover more and get closer but she refuses and let's them stay at the same point as before. He tries to express his feelings for her but every time he tries she disapproves of it. He's the only person in their class that will accept her for who she is and he's the only one who looks past the sleeping and the drool. Even though they don't know each other for that long they instantly click and end up being in a relationship which is bonded by drool...

Drool seems to be the key word in this anime; at the beginning we see Urabe asleep on her desk after school; she lifts her head up to reveal a pile of drool which she just leaves and then she walks out of class. Akira seems interested in the drool so he does one of the most disgusting things i've seen in an anime for a while now... he dips his finger in the small pool of drool and then licks it.

Shortly after doing this he falls ill; Urabe sees him whilst he's sick and explains the illness and what's happening to him. he takes it as a joke at first and then he realizes that she's being serious as she demonstrates the power of a small drop of her drool. The anime is quite fan serviced base; even though it's supposed to be romantic there is a lot of nakedness and sex related dreams that occur. Most of the time, the anime does go into detail about the dreams and the fantasies that they both have about each other.

In a way i wouldn't really recommend this anime; but that's just because naked girls and sex related themes just aren't my thing. To others it'll probably be a dream come true to find an anime like this... If that's you, then you're weird (no offense). The animation doesn't seem so new to me, the story line isn't really touching but quite disgusting. the characters are only memorable by the disgusting things they do to each other. In a way, i don't think there is anything special about it, it just seems like another low budget fan service anime which makes me want to puke everywhere.

I wouldn't really recommend it, but if you like naked stuff and sex then... I guess it's for you? (gross)...

Review 40: Kuroke No Basuke (little blue haired dude)!

Review 40: Kuroko No Basuke (Little blue haired dude)!

So this is, yet again, a fun loving anime filled with laughs and competition... But does Basketball really suit the Japanese lifestyle!?

Kuroko No Basuke is another one of those feel good sporty animes which is easy to fall in love with! The characters in the anime have amazing personalities and ways of tackling situations. The graphics and animation that the creator uses is up to scratch and gives you the best possible viewing that you could get for a funny and amazing anime! The main characters that with have in this anime are obviously Kuroko and his new found friend Kagami. At first we see that both characters hate each other and are complete opposites in every single way; which already sets a good and competitive mood for the rest of the anime and the events that are about to come.

The anime starts off with the viewers being told about The Generation Of Miracles: a 5 man basketball team that graduated from middle school after becoming the best team in the whole of Japan!! (I think). After they all graduated they all went separate ways and went to different schools; all of those players haven't seen each other ever since. Until now...

Kuroko joins the in at Seirin High, were he decides to join the basketball team, and then proves himself to the whole of the school that he in fact is the 6th member of The Generation Of Miracles... (we'll get back to that later). Kagami has, in fact, just returned from America where he played Basketball for his own team; He signs up for Seirins basketball team and soon notices that it may just be a complete waste of time.

When it comes round to actually playing basketball; the team is terrible apart from Kagami. Which then creates a sort of one man team and a lonely background for such a strong character. He is in fact the strongest man on the team, when we see all of the players; we, the viewers, get to see how much of a difference in size Kagami is to Kuroko... Kuroko doesn't play basketball at first, instead he sits out on the bench and isn't even noticed until a while in to the series... Well I think it' a while anyway.

The storyline is mainly that Kuroko and Kagami are going to take on the rest of The Generation Of Miracles and their new teams; Even though Kuroko is smaller and not as good as everyone else, he does hold a sill that the other members of The Generation Of Miracles does not have. As our team keeps on challenging the other members of The Generation Of Miracles we do get to see all of the skills each ad everyone one of them has in store for us. The more we see our Seirin team play against The Generation Of Miracles we see them get stronger and get closer as a team.

The characters themselves are quite simple minded and quite funny; but when they start playing they do become deadly serious and it takes another turning point for us as the viewers. The team are quite funny when they are off the court and we get to see them become closer and even funnier the longer we watch.

Over all, I think the anime is superb; it's hilarious to watch and it just makes you laugh at loud no matter what episode it is that you’re on! I loved the series and I think I’m going to keep on watching it in my spare time, it's defiantly worth a watch and your time!! The animation is amazing, the voice overs are amazing, the characters are amazing and the storyline is kinda all over the place... BUT AMAZING!!!Get watching guys!
