It`s come to my attention, that once again, my blog posts have got some weird white background appearing behind them.
This was one of my main reasons as to why I slowed down and eventually completely stopped uploading my old reviews because it was too much hassle to try and get rid of the white backdrop. If anyone does have any advice on how to get rid of them easily then please do message me! It happens whenever I transfer a review from wattpad to my blog and it`s a lot of hassle to try and get rid of at the moment.
A big thanks to everyone for being patient and sending me Anime suggestions over facebook and wattpad!

See you all again soon!

Review 39: Attack On Titan (Huge, Naked Thingies)...
So in this imaginary world full of extraordinary surprises we see that naked men are running around killing other naked men... wait, can we back track a little bit?
So in this anime we see the series set around the adventures of a young boy named Eren, his amazing adopted sister Mikasa and their best friend Armin. All of who which live inside of a huge city; not an ordinary city though... This city is surrounded by a gigantic wall; the only reason that this ridiculous thing has to actually be there is to stop these creatures called Titans from entering the city and devouring humans. This isn't the only city in this imaginary world full of blood and gore.... No, no; this city that our wonderful murderous characters live inside is one of the ones that the centre city use to protect themselves (if that even makes any sense)
So this anime, I have to say, has to be one of the most up to date ones I’ve watched so far. The graphics are amazing and the animation is top notch; obviously due to how new it is. The detail on the characters, these humongous killer giants and the gore is absolutely outstanding. The way the creator uses the titans to add new and unusual twists to the plot and the characters’ lives has to be some of the only techniques that I have seen, that are actually working so successfully it's making fandom become crazier for this anime!
So the series basically starts with Eren and his adopted sister being themselves and showing us what life is like around their city. It basically starts off as nice as possible and soon turns utterly sour... After we see soldiers who are sent to kill the Titans return from their mission announcing that they have failed; things turn horribly wrong for the people in this world full of horror.
(If you haven't yet seen it, don't read on; as this is pretty much a huge spoiler on the first few episodes. Trust me, it is amazing so if you've read on this far and want to watch it... Do it now)
When the towns people are going about their daily business, we hear the sounds of giant footsteps echoing in the background of the hustle and bustle of the lives of the innocent people who are about to meet a painful fate of blood and horror. A hugeeeeeee Titan, which is wayyy bigger than all of the normal of the normal Titans... And this one is taller than the wall that these people call ‘protection’ so immediately, we know that this isn't going to end well at all. This Titan is completely different from all of the others, first off; his height, and second the god damn strength his big toe has... He stands there for, what seems, forever and then kicks down the main gate into the city that our characters are based in. Which then lets in all of the normal titans so they can now begin their feast on the human race...
In my own opinion I think this anime is amazing, from the beginning where we see our characters grow up and become the ultimate fighters... Until the end where we see them become even stronger fighters, (yeah, I can't think of anything right now). Basically I think the attention to detail that the creator has added is absolutely superb, the characters they have created to make us want to learn more about their lives makes us fall in love, the giant titans included brings out the inner horror lover in us all and the absolutely best fighting scenes that we see with the 3D manoeuvre gear impresses the inner fan in all of us!
So if this isn't enough to convince anime lovers that this has to be the number one anime of the year then I actually don't know if I should give you more spoilers; which would frankly annoy everyone who reads my reviews. So take my word for it! If you love gore, plot twists, naked giants and loveable characters that you wish could be your best friends... THEN WATCH ATTACK ON TITAN NOW!!!

Review 38: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (Touching, Time Travelling Love)!

Review 38: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (Touching, Time Traveling Love)!

Time travel just became possible... But not how we imagined... This wonderful anime film will touch you're hearts; it's one that you will never forget!
The anime itself was made in 2006 but still has amazing animation and techniques used to make it seem as modern as possible. The creator of the anime seems to use extremely confusing, intelligent and hilarious ways of messing around with the time skipping and the events that may occur afterwards. Compared to other classical animes like Akira, this one seems a bit more natuarally based with the scenarios and characters that they've chosen. They only un-natural aspect of this anime is that they skip through time by jumping off of random objects... Strange people...
Since it is only a film, i can't really go into much depth about any of the characters, or the story line or the basic plot for the story to flow in and out of! Since the story line is too confusing for me to attempt to describe, i can't put it into words to tell you guys! Which is annoying... I can't really talk about the characters involved because they are forever changed in appearance, personality and they twist the story line too much.
All i can say is that: The story line is confusing, but amazing! The characters are strange, but without them the story line would be practically dead! Even though i can't explain the events of the anime, it is a must watch and it is very touching! I must of watched it about 6 times now, personally i love it! It's just to difficult to put into words or write a review on it...
So the best thing to do is just get you all to watch it! Job done...

Review 37: Hell Girl (The price is the soul).

Review 37: Hell Girl (The price is the soul).

So it does seem really hard to explain the concepts of hell girl without ruining the story behind it and what the main characters backgrounds are like. So I am soooooo sooooo sorry if there are any spoilers in this review!
Basically the series as a whole is about a young girl who is dead but not really dead and is stuck in between hell and earth. So like a purgatory kind of aspect to it. She travels around with three other people; an old man who usually takes the form of a doll, a middle aged woman who takes the form of whatever she pleases and a young boy who seems to be in his young 20's who also takes the form of whatever he pleases. These people are also known as the hell correspondence. An online website which is only retrievable at midnight. When on the Hell Correspondence website the user has to enter the name of someone they wish to refer to hell; this won't happen straight away though. What happens next is that Hell girl comes and visits you and gives you a doll that looks a bit like a voodoo doll. When you're ready to send this person to hell you just pull the red thread from around his neck and hell girl will fetch them and take them to hell. The only problem is that when you die your soul will also belong to hell.
I received the first disc to the Hell Girl series last year as a birthday present from my cousins; now they don't see me that much and don't really know what I like but I think this present had to be the closest they have ever gotten to what I asked for. (Bless them). So basically they said if I liked the first one then they'll get me the rest whenever they could which seemed like a pretty good deal. So as I watched the first one I noticed that there was actually no story line involved what so ever; the only people that remained the same where the people from the hell correspondence... All of the other characters that you meet along the way are just people who have been affected by someone and wish to send them to hell at some point.
So after I watched the first one I did some reading into the series. Apparently the story line and main characters appear in the second disc so I asked if I could have the rest of the series. I did eventually get the rest of the series and it does eventually start properly and when it does it starts to get interesting. As the audience we meet a journalist who is looking into the ever growing audience that love the hell correspondence and his daughter. We learn from their conversations that her mother is actually dead but it never says if the journalist is actually her dad or not. She always calls him by his first name. This does seem weird but it doesn't reveal anything throughout the series. They don't really develop much as characters apart from the little girl who eventually grows to hate the journalist as he becomes too involved in the happenings surrounding the hell girl.
We do see a lot of touching stories along the way and some pointless ones; we do get to learn a lot about each and every character that we encounter. Including their past, their school, their family, their friends and what is actually wrong with the individual. This does seem a little weird for this type of anime to go into so much depth about a character that we won't see every again throughout the series as a whole. This then gives us a bit of understanding as to why they do this and what actually drives them into sending people into hell. So as a whole anime there is a lot of understanding of the characters that the audience has to pick up on along the way.
The graphics and animation is yet again top notch and lives up to the standard of modern anime shows. There is not too much gore and if there is then it lacks blood and organs. This is pretty good in my mind because it appeals to all audiences so I think that it was actually a pretty clever move to have something so involved with hell itself but not have the gore that we would expect from a normal hell-is anime.
The anime as a whole has a lot of dialogue and different characters; it is English dubbed and subbed and is available online for download or free streaming. Also available in HMV stores and online stores. You cannot buy the discs in a complete collection yet (I think) they can only be bought separately so far but they aren't too hard to find.
Spoiler part: If you want to watch the anime then don't read this!!!!!!

In the end of the anime it does become a bit confusing as we learn the truth behind the hell girl and what happened to her when she was younger. It actually turns out that a very long time ago there was an old fashioned village that needed to sacrifice an 8 year old girl every year so they could have a good harvest season; in other words pleasing the gods was the key. This meant that the hell girl was to be sacrificed; we eventually find out that her loving cousin was the one to save her and he managed to help her stay out of harm’s way. Just shows that your family can be trusted sometimes!
A few years’ later people from the village find out where bouts she's hiding and return her to the village; here at the village her and her parents are stoned to death by the angry villagers who had the bad harvest. Strangely enough she comes back; but when she does we meet the hell that is the hell girl. On her first hour of returning she sets the village a light and the only person there to witness the burning is her beloved cousin who tried his best to keep her out of harm’s way.
This seems to give the whole series as a whole an extremely unexpected twist on events; when we see what happened and her will to survive that sacrifice. It just shows that her will to survive carries on within all of the other characters that we eventually meet throughout the anime. It's as if hell girl herself is actually passing on that will to other people so they also have the power to stop whatever is in their way. The revenge that she has still possess those who use the hell correspondence website; this just adds a huge twist that will affect everyone in different ways as different things begin to emerge.
I actually watched the anime series with a friend and his thoughts on it was that her hatred towards people reflects on those who use the site as their hatred grows stronger towards a person. He also said that this acts as revenge because hell girl is also sending them to hell as well as if she hates every living being.Watch the anime and see what you think about why she does it in the end; comment what you think below and let's put all of these ideas together! Thanks guys and I do apologize for adding the spoiler at a different time to the rest of the review!

Review 34: Devil Survivor 2: The Animation (Imagine if you saw yourself die)??...

Review 34: Devil Survivor 2: The Animation (Imagine if you saw yourself die)??...

(This review was originally uploaded a couple of years ago).
Imagine if you where on an on line site that you never signed up for..... You’re at a train station.... a new video is uploaded to this mysterious site.... And before your eyes you see yourself die? Now how would you react? Would you discuss your death with your friend? Or would you run?
This new but insanely realised anime that has just hit our screen is already proving to be popular amongst the viewers of our generation.
So saving the world for superman alone seems tough? Right? Well in this anime we see three young high school students that only wanted to get the train back home...Until the strange app named dead face uploads a new video... This footage shows the two main characters of the anime being killed by the train that is just about to arrive...
Would you run??
Would you ignore it?
Or, would you accept you're fate?

In this brand new anime all decisions you make will count towards if you live or die.... A good decision could mean that you are actually the saviour of the world and you are the chosen one who will prevent us all from dying..... A bad decision could mean that within a week every life form on earth will be consumed...
The brand new anime based on the video game Devil Survivor 2, is based on the day that every life form on earth hopes will never arrive... Judgement day. The day where God himself decides who lives and who dies, the day where most people are chosen to go to hell and only a small few make it too heaven. This causes the Earth to plunge into complete chaos killing millions of people in just a few hours of the judgement day commencing. (If that even makes sense)....It all starts off with one of our main characters named Daichi logs on to a popular site with the young generation called Nicea. It’s an extremely popular video delivery site that then delivers the videos of people dying. A bit extreme, I know, but this is the site that shows billions of peoples death; but only if they aren't natural occurrences. So let's say someone died in a car accident, Nicea would show a short video of the accident happening and then the dead persons face and where they are positioned.
When our two young characters are waiting for a train to arrive at the local station, a new "dead face" or should I say "A friend’s dead face" had been uploaded. When they click on the link to the clip, the train that they are waiting for derails causing them and everyone else to be crushed to death. In the next few seconds of them discussing the clip a sudden earthquake occurs, thus causing the train to derail and killing them both.
But in death their given the choice.... The choice of weather they wish to accept their fate and die, or to live... Obviously both Daichi and Hibiki choose to live. When they come around and begin to wake up they see a few wolf like creatures devouring the other corpses lying on the floor; they also spot a young girl who goes to their school named Nitta screaming and running away from one of these creatures. Whilst running away she gets cornered by one of them, and then from holding up her arm in a way of defence she summons her demon. The demon summoning app was forcefully downloaded into NIttas', Daichis' and Hibikis' phone. Meaning that instead of running away they could actually fight off the demons and then leave so they could be safe instead of being hunted down.
Staring with a very event full first episode; it actually sets the mood for the rest of the anime and what is about to arrive next. It may seem a little rushed at the beginning with a lot of information to take in just from the first 5 minutes. But, it sets out the story quicker, we get to know the characters in which we will be following a lot quicker than in other animes, and, we can get the idea of what the anime is about and the art style that the creator has chosen.
There's not much to fill in for a character profile though; I see this as a huge downside to the review (and my grammar problems)..... All of the characters that we see in the anime follow the same sort of lines and the same attitudes towards the events that are taking place. None of them seem to have any mysterious pasts and troubles with their family which keeps on arising. This may be because the anime itself is actually based on the video game Devil Survivor 2, or just because the creator of the anime thought it would be much better to leave it this way so that the audience can keep on guessing what might b wrong with them, or, what might happen if two characters feel differently about a decision.  The three main characters Nitta, Daichi and Hibiki choose to accept the disaster that is going to arrive upon the world whilst a few characters that we meet along the way of this epic journey, still stay in denial of what's going to happen. Did the creator of this anime/game make them seem this way because it's all too unreal to be true or happening... Or, did he do this so the audience can keep on guessing again. I'm going with the fact that it can keep the audience guessing; the best thing to do when making an anime or Manga is to keep on getting the audience involved. Make them use some of their imagination to add to the story; doing this is a key to a good anime, it keeps the audience involved and makes them want to watch that anime even more.
If the creator did do this on purpose than I’ve got to say he's a very clever man; especially with all of the twists he adds into the anime itself. If he did it all by accident because of the game and the way the game was planned out; than it was a clever mistake... I guess....
It's a brilliant watch from start to finish and is defiantly worth the time. The graphics and special effects are all up to date, it's got the futuristic aspect that we would expect from an anime with this sort of story line and most importantly the coolest demon summoning app I’ve ever seen.... But that's probably because I’ve never seen one before...... For me it has to be the best anime when it comes to introducing the futuristic twists, new items that no one has seen before and the coolest shaped phones I’ve ever seen. (I want one so bad). The characters all have their unique design which keeps them apart from the ones that we shouldn't even acknowledge.
But there is a very big down side that put me off completely; as a really cool character and his best friend died a few episodes in which I thought must have been the biggest mistake ever. Either because this is going to happen whenever they meet someone new on a different day to take down a huge demon, or, because of the design of that character and the fact that there is probably way more to that character than meets the eye; and most anime fans are going to want to know what that was/is.

So, All I can say.... IS WHY KILL OFF ALL OF THE COOL CHARACTERS!!!

Review 33: Black Butler (Hello There Sebastian, Demon, Devil, Sir)?!

Review 33: Black Butler (Hello There Sebastian, Demon, Devil, Sir)?
I can't decide whether having a demon as your butler is actually worth it? So what does everyone else think? Do you have to be rich and famous like the characters we see in this anime? Or can you be normal too. Everything is answered in this slightly old but popular anime Black Butler.
So I know this anime has already been watched by billions worldwide but I’ve only just gotten round to watching this... weird series...
I’ve finally completed this amazing series of anime, and I’ve got to say this is actually a typical English based series of anime that has surprisingly become quiet enjoyable for even me! So then, the story line is not confusing in any way, shape or form. This is good if you’re like me, I get un-interested very easily...... It's based in a typical London based in the Victorian era. So we see the common things that actually came up in this sort of time, rat infestations, and mice infestations and of course Jack the ripper.
It isn't too clear what happens to the main character until his butler starts to explain why he behaves in a strange manner around certain thing, and in certain situations. On Ciel Phantomhives 10th birthday, a mysterious fire engulfed the phantomhive manor; with the manor then falling to ruin claiming Ciel's parents, Ciel then ran away. When he returned just a month later he bought along a mysterious looking Butler names Sebastian. Now this is where it seems a bit more interesting; everyone loves Sebastian, the way he handles situations, the way he knows exactly what Ciel wants before he even asks for it..... And the way that he can do anything imaginable and to the best of his ability..... Oh, and the fact that whenever someone compliments him he then says "I’m simply one hell of a butler.
I've got to say it is actually quite good; to say that most mainstream animes are either based in Japan in the future or completely made up worlds, this is actually quite a good anime to say it's only one of the few I’ve seen based in England. The artist for it has managed to get the art perfect and the Phantomhive manor just amazingly amazing! (Amazing).... The style of the clothes that every character is wearing is completely unique but still fits the time period and the setting; the way the characters act towards each other, is funny, yet serious at the same time; The way the situations are planned out and the order that they go in suits all of the characters; just everything the artist and writer has done all the way through this series completely suits England for once.... And that has to be a first for the Japanese
Ciel Phantomhive: He seems quiet and withdrawn most of the time, most of the time he seems like he dislikes the other servants of the Manor and treats them all completely differently compared to the way he treats Sebastian. Even though his parents are dead and most people would still mourn over that when at a young age, he never seems to cry or seem scared even in the scariest of circumstances. He can be quiet demanding though, whenever Sebastian isn't around and non of the other servants will do as he says he seems to show a more violent nature compared to his normal one; when he isn't showing this aggressive nature then he seems to be quiet laid back and enjoys playing games. Even though these games may not be real he seems to play them as if they are, if he dislikes a game he will get it over and done with as quick as possible, if he loves a game then he'll play it really quick so he can then again get another loveable game.... So when we look at him as a game lover he seems to behave un-naturally and strangely towards them. Then later on when we see things get slightly more interesting we can see that he brings these fakes made up games into reality..... A few episodes in when he is playing a board game with a mysterious worker from Italy; we then see Sebastian carrying out the orders from Ciel...... Creating a whole new game for them to play, but this time with real characters..... Let's get off of the depression; before his father and beloved mother passed away they set him up with a woman, she goes by the name of Elizabeth, a classical English name, and loves everything that’s cute (Japan, right there). Even though Ciel dislikes the girl and hates everything cute he still puts up with her and her annoying nature which seems to affect every other character.
Sebastian: Even though he randomly appeared along with Ciel after the death of the lords of the manor, everyone still accepts him for him? It seems kind of weird.... No one ever suspects him of being abnormal or absolutely perfect. Even in the most unlikely of circumstances for some reason Sebastian can always make Ciel pull through. He loves playing games with Ciel, and when I say games I mean not the board games, I mean the games with real people. In the first few episodes when we see their first game; we can see that Sebastian seems to do all of the work in it, whilst Ciel sits up with the original board game waiting for the game to be finally over. Even though the other servants notice that there is something slightly weird and strange that stands out, they still go along with the fact that he will always be Ciel's favourite servant and he can do anything and everything. His mysterious nature suits all of the other people in the anime that come across as evil or bad, this proves that he fits both roles; therefore showing that he has a split personality, that's whenever Ciel feels like playing a game with him.
The other characters are a bit withdrawn from the series; the only other ones that seem to play apart are the annoying servants who can never get anything done, Ciel's aunt who doesn't really suit the Victorian era at all and the under taker who handles the dead bodies of the victims from Jack the ripper. Elizabeth seems to be not so important until later on in the series, but she annoyed me anyway.... so if I’m honest I wasn't really that bothered. (XD).

The art in this series is completely amazing, along with the character design and amongst other things there seem to be a few hiccups in there which ruin the series and the era that it is then set in. It really is a must see (again) and has an amazing story line, the characters in it are amazing, the designs of everything is just amazing and if you’re watching it in English then you will notice how amazing the English voice over’s are!!!

Wednesday 7 October 2015

This morning we received devastating news about my sixth form being closed down at the end of this year; this place has offered so much to me and It`s disastrous to see it go. But we aren`t going down without a fight.

This morning we had an emergency assembly with the whole of sixth form attending; then we where informed of the closure of our AMAZING sixth form in July 2016. Luckily I`ll be able to finish year 13 and go on to university but those in year 12 who have settled in and are loving their course will now have to leave and find somewhere new that will take them on as an emergency placements. I`m seriously devastated at the news and I`m so disappointed at the fact that they are seriously going through with this now...

Future generations won`t be able to gain the life skills, employability skills and just the general skills that they`ll need to get through life. So many students are now left without a clue as where to go and most parents are furious and have been storming into the school today so they can speak to the head of the school.

Even if this petition doesn`t work, it shows that people out there still care about the students and the community that we create. Because of all of this, we can no longer raise anymore money for students in Gambia and no more money for the charity called Ben`s Den...

Here`s the link to the online petition, even if you`ve never read any of my blogs and if you`ve never even heard of this sixth form... Just remember the students that will miss out on this amazing opportunity for work experience, community work and for higher education.
https://www.change.org/p/mr-smith-stop-ilkeston-academies-sixth-form-from-closing

Also, feel free to speak to me on Facebook about what has happened, I need some ideas for some sort of fund-raising and some sort of protest that students can do.
https://www.facebook.com/amy.watkinson.104

This is what people will be missing
out on, amazing friendships and
amazing lessons!
A HUGE thank you to anyone who chooses to sign or contact me, even if you don`t know what this about; just think about the students who are missing out and the staff who will now be loosing their jobs.
Thank you!

Review 32: Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Review 32: Puella Magi Madoka Magica
A not so new but amazing feel good happy fighting anime. But where witch hunters the right choice for this anime?

In a not so normal world full of not so normal people, and the occasional normal person Witches attempt to destroy us all; one quick question though? Will our magical girls be able too handle the responsibility of taking down these sinners, or will they turn out to be not so magical after all?
I've got to say just after watching one short episode of this anime i feel in love with the style of art straight away. With our magical girls wearing super cute outfits that make the younger generation of watchers fall in love with them straight away; colour full looking fancy soul gems and witches that don't completely scare us to death after one viewing.
The series is mainly about you young girl; she`s named Madoka and is a seriously cute lead character. She encounters a weird looking cat that's almost been beaten to death (aww bless), soon after she then encounters one of the cats so called "friends" Homura; The cat can create magical girls, once the deal has been made they then become witch hunters and it's all nicely sealed off with one wish of your choice!! (Not too bad if i do say so myself).
The series starts off as a feel good anime, everyone friendly, happy and getting on with their lives the way that they want too. But it does quickly turn into a serious series of anime. Shortly after we see a magical girl named mami (who does play a big part) fighting against a witch; eventually her fighting days come to an end..... It may sound slightly depressing but this makes this series of anime even better.
Madoka does eventually become a magical girl, as do a few other characters, as we also start too encounter even more of these magical people who work for one cat.... strange
Madoka Magica; A young girl who has a caring, loving family that would do absolutely anything for her in any circumstance. She attends school with normal humans and some of the magical girls. In the first episode we see one of Madokas dreams completely in black and white; within the dream she encounters a young girl who is a magical girl in real life who eventually turns up at the school as a transfer student in Madokas class. This really scares Madoka as she has never spoke about the dreams too anyone. She eventually becomes a Magical girl and fights these weird looking witches until the very end....
I do think it's an amazingly good series of anime; a bit wacky at times but a brilliant wacky not too serious anime about cute looking witch hunting fun loving girls who are completely insane in every way possible!!!

It's an amazing watch from start to finish; it has it's own complete individual art style which stands out straight away, cute loveable characters and a short story line that actually makes sense! No confusing pasts that everyone can keep up with, it's just amazeballs! This only may be a small review but it really is worth the watch if you want a break from all of the mainstream stuff.

Review 31: Nurahiyon No Mago (Is being a demon king actually good)??

Review 31: Nurahiyon No Mago (Is being a demon king actually good)??
The new Demonised
series of anime Nurahiyon is going to be amazing at this rate; but  is the idea of  becoming a demon king or commander actually good or pleasing? Well in this young case it isn't....

The Nura clan is the most respected demon clan in Japan at this moment in time; due to strong powers, strong numbers and the strongest willed family as the leaders this clan will forever be the best. The clan is unknown to humans all they know is that a Young boy named Nura lives there and attends a school close by, but besides that no one elses is ever seen leaving this house. But when a human does approach all of the real inhabitants inside the demonic japanese mansion than all od the demons inside can magically turn into a plain looking human who seem to look like servants; we even see evidence of this in the first 2 episodes of their magically transformation powers which "all" demons seem to posses.

All of the demons in this anime aren't actually named demons; in this they are called Yokai, hence why in
English translation this anime is actually named Nura: Rise Of The Yokia clan. The family in this clan is kind of unusual. out of all of the animes I've seen and read all of the way through this has to have the most strangest acting and most strangest appearing demons. The behavior of these demons is controlled only by the element or the actual power that they posses; because of this some will be kind and gentle and some will be madly aggressive and hard hearted towards other members of the clan. But the biggest change of all for all of them is how they change around humans and their appearance change; just this can make a huge difference as soon as they turn themselves into their human form their behaviors immediately change to the most kindest and loyal person you would of ever met in your entire life.
The main story line is about a young boy who i've already mentioned; his full name is Rikuo Nura. In the anime and manga all he wants is to become a human for life and all he really acres about is looking after his friends and doing what ever is possible to avoid becoming the next leader of the clan. Because of this the story is mainly based around his life and those who are closest to him. The main aim in this story is for the nura clan itself to become a bit more protected by having a leader who won't let them down; to have more members who aren't just family and are even more loyal to them as they where to other clans and finally to become the best clan and even beat all of the rival clans in japan so they will be finally known as Japans most known demonic clan. Apart from all of this there are little side stories and a few filler episodes but some of them do actually serve a purpose in the series and will have some meaning; thats if you can actually understand what is supposed to be going in the episode and you can actually link it into the other episodes; if you can't do any of this then you may want to skip these episodes and have a quick guess at whats going on in the other episodes...... Make sense yet??

Rikuo Nura: Since a child he has always joked around about becoming a Yokai and playing stupid petty pranks on the other members of the clan and also joking about becoming the next head of the clan. Later on at school a discussion
arises about the Yokais and what those demons are really like, this changed his mind about his whole life. Even though he lives the Yokai he decided to set his life strictly on becoming a human and by achieving this goal he finishes good deeds for humans and attends school with them. Even though he joked around about everything he is supposed to do when he was younger, he actually rebels against the current head of the clan and does nothing that he's supposed to do. There is a twist though on this character and a few others, but mainly this one, as he isn't fully Yokai he is a human during the day so he is able to attend school but can still sense, see and hear the demons. At night he can suddenly turn into the leader of the Yokai clan with strangely black and white long sticking out hair and a purple kimono to finish it off; even though he's a young boy in the human version at night he becomes a fully grown demonised man. There aren't actually many demons in the Nura clan who have actually seen him in this form but when one of them does she actually doesn't seem overly surprised about any of it (probably due to the calm element she is currently mastering).
All in all this anime is amazing; up to date graphics, a story line that makes sense, not to many filler episodes and side stories, brilliant fighting
scenes, creative designs for the demons and an amazing lead character that has a bit of growing up to do.

Review 30: Needless (is all this fanservice needless too)?

Review 30: Needless (is all this fanservice needless too)?
The world wide amazing action and fanservice packed anime adventure, but is all of this fanservice actually needed??
The world of needless is seriously weird; it's strange in ever way possible all of the way through this anime. In this stranger version of Japan there are weird stand out features that a lot of viewers cannot comprehend.
Basically world three started quite a while ago, as weapons where passed around and altered and then finally fired at Japan it created what many people including the authorities and government call the black spot. And it is what it's called, the skies black and it is a abandoned wasted land with nothing living, nothing inhabiting the area and nothing will ever change the black spot or change it any way.
When the bomb hit and created the black spot, anyone who was in the area or near the bomb site then they would of been turned into what everyone calls a needless or they would of been killed by the blast. Eventually people tried to inhabit the surrounding areas and attempted to live within the black spot. Until a company named Simeon built a ginormous building in the centre of the black spot with seriously high security and governments from all over the world coming to visit so they could finally learn and find out what a Needless is and why they exist. When rumours got out about everyone in the Simeon Company being a Needless there where riots and resistance groups that joined forces to go head on with Simeon..... All of which have ultimately failed at taking down the company.
This is when we start to meet our main characters, Cruz is the first. This series starts off with the Resistance attempting to ambush Simeon, which fails, and two members trying to flee the battle ground to find somewhere else to stay until the fights die down. Unfortunately though there is only one main character found from this particular scene. Unfortunately Cruz's older sister Nee-San is destroyed by a Testament robot (From Simeon). Cruz than has to find his way around the sewers in an attempt to get away from this robot before it appears again and takes his life too. Once he's in the sewers he manages to find the time to break down and cry over the loss of his dead sister, which then leads to the Testament breaking the concrete floor to get to Cruz in an attempt to take his life away too. Until a mysterious man wearing a choker and no shirt appears and takes down the Testament in front of Cruz.
This ladies and gentlemen is our next main character; he never goes by his normal name so everyone just calls him Blade. His real name is Adam and everyone knows him as the memorization Needless, he won't use his power a lot but will use it if he's in danger or someone else his, he doesn't abuse his powers and he hates Simeon. Others we meet later on in some other episodes; like eve and Blades scientist.
Cruz; As he has no powers at all he struggles quite a lot when it comes to surviving without his sister in this newly found world. He is a slightly awkward character, whenever someone upsets him he runs the other way to get away for a while.....It never works. He's a small character in the series as he has no powers or any special skills that he can use against Simeon; but he plays the most important role as our lead character who tries to come to terms with the newly found Simeon ruled Japan. He doesn't really like working for his new found friends but it's the only thing he can do as his sister and everyone else he ever knew was murdered in a matter of seconds; due to this he has to slave around for the new found friends until Cruz can stand on his own two feet..... Which will be never in this series as you cannot magically earn powers like the ones that the Needless have. For starts the fanservice in this brings out the slightly funnier side of Cruz; he's the stereotypical main boy in the series as his nose bleeds a considerable amount when a naked girl appears and he seems to turn Chibi for some reason. But all in all he is a good lead character, he may be lacking some characteristics which we would rather see than a weak boy; but i think doing this makes a bit of a change for the series and the story line within it.
Blade; As he has all of the power anyone can ask for he is the perfect character to be holding the spot light whenever Cruz hasn't run off or started crying for some unknown reason. But he hasn't got all of the powers in the world actually; his Needless power is the power of manipulation. In other words when he sees his opponent using a strong move than his brain automatically copies the move and uses it against them as he's more powerful than most of the people we see him fight. Which means that over this series of anime we see Blade using tons of elements to fight with against others and completely random moves like the godly string one that we see in some of the earlier episodes of Needless. Eventually there are tons of other weirdly wonderful whacky moves we see him possess but non of them apart from the fire element ones actually stood out to me; there is one thing that stands out though, it may only be small but it can indicate to the audience when the fight gets serious. We see a quick glimpse of Blades brain surrounded by multi-coloured waves of energy, afterwards it usually says manipulation complete or something along those lines, but this only happens when he's being seriously serious in a fight.

The anime is seriously good but i think the character designs and the story have to be the best thing out of the series. The fight scenes are usually short and not to violent; if they are long it's usually filled in by a lot of talking to the opponent. The graphics are ok i guess usually on high quality 3D moments; e.g. a car moving or a quick flash forward for the audience to show use where the next bad guy is. Even though I’ve done the review i think I’ll still keep on watching the anime as i actually love the characters and their fighting styles.
