Review 11: Deadman Wonderland (Best anime for weirdness)!!!

Review 11: Deadman Wonderland (Best anime for weirdness)!!!

Deadman Wonderland is only a short series and is all about a sink hole which destroyed Tokyo and was then re built, in the middle of the sink hole a theme park was built....But there are no normal staff or caretakers at that theme park..There are all Prison inmates that where sent there as a capitol punishment, some are on death row and some are just there as a life sentence.

They have to work the whole time at the theme park, which is coincidentally named Deadman Wonderland, they all have to wear collars as well....These can be used as trackers, killers, poisoners and can be used to grab your attention every once in a while. The promoter (the owner of the park) keeps a lot of secrets all the way throughout the series, and keeps some prisoners like pet birds.
As long as all of the inmates have the collars on they will always be threatened by death as one of the main attractions at Deadman Wonderland is what they call the dog race, this is just like an obstacle course but the bad thing is depending on the promoters mood a certain amount of people will die, when the main characters Ganta and Shiro enter the race it's set on the highest level so nearly every single person who takes place in the race dies, on each obstacle in the race there's another way to die and as it's the most popular event at Deadman Wonderland thousands of people go to watch just one event of the dog race and they all get to see the players die.

Thing is though they all think that it's all special effects and most of them enjoy it whilst some others think it's disguisting and real, even one man says to a friend that "who cares if they do die, there all criminals." No one really cares but the inmates need to do this to survive so every day they risk their lives and sometimes their ended. The inmates have to take part to gain Cast points...
Cast Points/Cast Cards: Every inmate has to have one, whenever you take part in a event in Deadman Wonderland you gain Cast Points they can be used for buying food, cigarettes, drinks you name it and everyone needs them to buy Candy....If you can't afford the Candy then you can kiss you life good bye...

Candy: In Deadman Wonderland everyone has a collar, and these collars can obviously be used for all sorts of things....One of the worst features is the fact that when you put them on they automatically start to pump Poison around your body...The Poison only takes three days to kill you and on the third day you have to take the Candy if you don't then you'll obviously die....What the Candy does is break down the poison so it can be disposed off through your bodies organs..If you don't take the Candy You'll feel the effects of the poison and you'll slowly die......(What a lovely way to threaten inmates).

Ganta: At the beginning of the short series we see Ganta as a 14 year old high school student in a class happily talking to his friends about their next field trip. In the next episode we see him in Deadman Wonderland, He becomes a prison inmate and is on death row....He learns most of the things that he needs to know to survive off of the other inmates. In this short series Ganta is seen as weak and spineless, he can't fight or stand up for himself very well so he stands there and takes the criticism he gets from the other inmates. He doesn't really learn how to stick up for himself in the series, and to say he's a main character you would of though he would of been stronger as a person and a Deadman, Near the end he seems a bit stronger but he hides it quite a bit.

Shiro: She helps Ganta out quite a lot in the series and knows him from when she was younger but he doesn't remember her....She doesn't seem to bothered about it though and doesn't really pay attention to what Ganta says and keeps on reminding him that he can't o everything himself. Shes always seen wearing this weird white all in one suit, shes quite mysterious and pops up when you least expect it. All in all shes a lovely character and loves everyone!! Her mysterious background and sometimes quietness makes people feel a bit uncomfortable around her.

All together the series is amazing and i wish there was a second series. There where some really gross bits with all of the blood and gore, but if you get past all of that then the story line is amazing and sometimes a little bit confusing....If you don't know what i mean then pay more attention to those little side stories with the other characters. I really do wish there was a second series as all of the inmates could escape and tell the world about the true intentions of the Promoter and other staff that work together to make every one’s life a living hell.

Review 10: Zombie Powder. (get the rings)!!!
By the same man who made Bleach Tite Kubos which was made before his most famous anime and Manga Bleach. as well known artist and author his old books have become way more popular and i admit that this was a new read for me and i've only read three of the books and i already want the rest of the series in Zombie Powder. The style in which the characters are drawn are very similar to the ones in Bleach but i guess you can't blame him if there that popular.
I don't really feellike he's made this one to be just like Bleach, there are some similarities in between the two books but the personalities to the characters and the stories behind them are really different to the ones in Bleach.
The whole point of Zombie Powder is that a man called Akutabi Gamma (otherwise just known as Gamma) is after The Rings Of The Dead which are the only keys to finding the zombie powder that he needs, The rings are said to hold an unknown power that can bring the dead back to life in a matter of seconds and can also give the living eternal life. In this world though it's not the wars or the thugs that are feared, it's not the people that you hear outside at night banging on the doors demanding money.....It's what they call The Powder Hunters, they're obviously the people that search for the rings and will give their lives to have them.
Characters
Akutabi Gamma: The leader of the team and the most feared man alive, he's spent his life killing people and training himself so he can hunt down and find these rings before his enemies do. He's stubborn and willing in everything he does, he won't ever stop trying to find these rings no matter what or who gets in his way, anyone that opposes him will fall to their knees in a bloody mess that will leave them scared for life.
Elwood : A young boy who`s life was ruined a long time ago by the local thugs and robbers who he was forced to work for. He meets and is saved by Akutabi in the first book, they team up and become the best of friends and fighting partners. They're both strange yet stubborn in any ways, they both want the Powder but apparently for different reasons...?
These may be the first two characters in the first book but they're the main structure of the team that they make through out the series. I don't want to list any more characters because their personalities will soon give the story line away.
a brilliant read from start to finish.

Review 9: Vampire Knight...... (brotherly and sisterly love)

Review 9: Vampire Knight...... (brotherly and sisterly love)

Vampire knight is a long series obviously about vampires.

The headmaster of true cross has a theory.....his theory is that Vampires and humans should get along and live side by side now and forever. But there are obviously going to be a few hiccups in this plan to ensure that it goes smoothly. This includes The True Cross academies day students to protect the Night class students. Yuki Cross and Zero Kiryu, the only two students that can protect the Night classes secrets.

theres a bit of a love triangle though inbetween Yuki Cross, Zero Kiryu and Kaname Kuran. Kaname is a night class student who is a vampire and Zero is a half blood.

Half Blood: A person who isn't born a vampire and is turned into one during his or hers life.

Yuki Cross: a young girl who knows nothing about her previous life as she had her memory wiped by a vampire that she doesn't know. Shes the adopted daughter of the headmaster.

Zero Kiryu: hes been Yukis childhood friend since he can remember but he hates Kaname and his affection towards Yuki. He was turned into a vampire when he was younger. he knows that soon he will be losing his sanity and will fall to a level E.

Kaname Kuran: Hes the night class president and saved Yuki from a viscous vampire when they where younger. Hes the only Pureblood in the night class and thats why hes the president.

Theres many other characters that you will meet along the way but all in all these are the main 3 characters to look out for in the series.

A smash hit manga and anime all around the world, with many series and a brilliant story line it is a must read. the episodes can drag on a little bit and kind of repeat themselves, i recommend that you watch the episodes and then read the books.

Old Reviews.

So every review that has been uploaded so far has been written about two years ago...
Why are they so short?
Why does my grammar completely suck balls?
Why they are just genuinely crap?

Because i was about 14-15 years old when i wrote them. Which means i was failing at English, and doing anime reviews in my spare tie was my way of practicing and getting myself ready for my exams. It did work to be honest with you, i ended up getting a B in English language, and i did seriously struggle so a B for me was awesome.
but all of the reviews up till a certain point are only a few hundred words each, then they end up reaching about 1000 words each. So they do improve.... eventually, may take a while though.
You`ll see what i mean by the reviews that you`re going to see for a while are absolutely ,bull spermingly crappolio, if you look at the wattpad account i have or any other of the blogs i have.
I do try my best with my grammar but for me it is quite hard, i don`t know why i`ve just always found it hard.

Review 8: Bleach ( let's take a trip to the soul society)

Review 8: Bleach ( let's take a trip to the soul society)

bleach is for one completely amazing in every way!!! If you don't like Naruto that much then i think this would suit you way more better. This is mainly about Soul reapers who live in the Soul Society in another realm.

Soul Reapers: People who have either died or can see spirits. They have a Reaper form and a Human form in which they can disguise themselves. They fight Hollows to protect Humans and to keep peace in between the realms. Most of the higher ranked Reapers live in the soul Society and armatures live in the Human World. They're job is to protect the humans and try to get rid of Huco Mondo.

Hollows: People who have been criminals in their unfortunate lives and have bad souls, they turn into Hollows once they have died. They try to attack other Humans to kill them and attempt to kill the Soul Reapers all of the time. They don't care about one another and have no emotions apart from Anger, their hideous creatures who will be forever hunted down by the Soul Reapers.

Soul Society: The place where all Soul Reapers will go during their life. Many live there many just come and go. In the surrounding ares live the spirits of people who have passed away. The place is separated in to the rich the middle class and the poor, it's all based on who lives there and what it is like there.

Theres tons of different characters to meet along the way and it's a brilliant read and even better to watch as they've already finished doing the series even though theres over 9 different series but oh well! Try getting around to watching them all as they ar really cool and action packed, i've started watching it again.

I do think Rukia sounds a bit to old for her character though??

Review 7: Blue Exorcist (Awarded best anime of the year 2013, from me)!

Review 7: Blue Exorcist (Awarded best anime of the year 2013, From Me)!
blue exorcist is about a young boy who attends a normal school and lives a normal-ish life until the day comes when he realizes who he truly is!
at the start it may seem like an average story about an average boy, when he gets home you realize that he actually has no parents instead he was taken in by a priest, he lives with him and other preachers including his older brother. It all seems quiet normal until a young girl shows up at the church/Shrine/Temple (i can't remember), she always says she can see things that other people can't and she is hurt by invisible hands.
Rin (the main character) feels sorry for the little girl and one day when he sees her, he starts to see what she can see which starts to scare him a lot, it steals her scarf (i think) and starts to run away and as it's running away Rin starts to see little black bugs or so he thinks, no one else can see the bugs only him......
When the girls dad turns up to pick her up, Rin tries his best to explain what it was that was hurting her and the dad refuses to believe him and just keeps on saying that's it's someone at the school she goes to and he'll sort it out, but obviously we all know that it isn't a child at the local school instead it is In fact a Demon that has hurt her in the past and that's why she sees it all of the time.
i won't be saying anything else about the beginning of Blue Exorcist because it all kicks off at the start, the action, the drama and the Nightmares that'll stay with Rin forever. There are many characters you'll meet along the way in this series even though it short you will wish it carried on for longer.
Rin: he's the main character of this story, he is the main character all of the way through the series and is extremely cool, he's a character you will love from the start and i loved him so you all should to! He doesn't have a girlfriend all of the through so he seems very care free and doesn't really care about what people think of him and he won't realize what an effect his actions can have on other people. His older brother gets annoyed very easily by Rin. Rin can get very angry and upset with others if they say on bad thing even if it is/was a joke he'll snap and basically attempt to kill you, he's a strong opponent in a fight and can be quite dangerous at times. If you don't like the angry fighting type of characters then you'll prefer his older brother.
Yukio: Rin's older brother and he's the nerdiest one out of the two. Even though he's older Rin and him are still twins so there ages are different only by a couple of minutes. He's the nerd of the two by far as Rin never gets a high score on his tests. In the series Yukio wants to become a doctor which is the key to being clever in his case, he looks after Rin a lot of the time and doesn't get involved in any fights with him as he knows it'll end badly each time. When they where younger Rin would fight Yukios fights for him as he was never that strong and his cleverness would get him bullied and picked on.
